The Wrenfields won the Detroit Music Award for Outstanding Country Group at the 2004 Detroit Music Awards which were held on Friday, April 23rd at the State Theater in Detroit.

The Wrenfields will be performing two songs at the 2004 Detroit Music Awards at the State Theater on April 23rd.  Local country singer/songwriter Rachel Williams, who will be seen on the upcoming season of the USA Network's "Nashville Star", will also perform a song backed by The Wrenfields.

The Wrenfields had a fantastic time at the Farmer Jack Hot Country Jam in Taylor on Friday! 

The Wrenfields played in their scheduled slot at 6pm to a very receptive crowd and were asked back to play at 9pm in the National Headlining slot.  Darrel Worley was to begin at that time but was running late due to a tour bus problem.  Fortunately, Darrel arrived and put on a great show.  The evening was capped off with a fantastic fireworks show.  

Many thanks to Mike and Sandra from Watts-Up, Inc., and  the entire staff at WYCD 99.5 Detroit's Country for their hospitality.  Also a big thanks to Budweiser and Farmer Jack for sponsoring the event.

The Wrenfields are pleased to announce that they will be returning to the Chrysler Arts, Beats and Eats Festival for the 2nd year in a row.  

This year's performance will take place on Monday, September 2nd (Labor Day) at 1pm on the Dodge Americana Stage near Phoenix Plaza in Downtown Pontiac.  

The Wrenfields would like to thank the Forbes Brothers and everyone who came to support us at Memphis Smoke last week.  The WFUM video taping went very well and we'll keep you posted on the airdates for the show.

The Wrenfields took home 3 awards of their 5 nominations at the 2002 Detroit Music Awards held Friday, April 19th, at the State Theater in Detroit.  The awards are as follows:

The Wrenfields are pleased to announce that Tyler Brown will produce and engineer  their debut CD entitled 21st Century Pioneer which will be available in late July.  Tyler recently traveled to Mississippi to record and mix the upcoming release from Mark Olson and The Original Harmony Ridge Creek Dippers.  Olson was a founding member and former front man of The Jayhawks along with the current Jayhawks leader, Gary Louris.  More information on Tyler can be found by clicking here.

We've just been booked by the City of Dearborn to play at the 2001 Dearborn Homecoming.  We will be featured on Stage B from 6-8pm, August 4th, opening for the headliner Tony Orlando.   Homecoming is Dearborn's city festival and is located at Ford Field.
